Lydford Caravan and Camping Park

Lydford Caravan and Camping Park sits on the edge of the village on the western side of Dartmoor National Park, with wide views across to the tors. It is a short walk into Lydford, with the Castle Inn, Lydford Castle, St Petroc’s Church and the National Trust’s Lydford Gorge all close by, and the Granite Way cycle route on the doorstep.

The site is privately run and affiliated to the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and non-members are very welcome. It takes caravans, motorhomes, folding campers and tents, with hardstanding or grass pitches with electric hook-up and a separate tent field with panoramic views of the moor. Dogs are welcome.

Getting there

Please don’t rely on sat nav from the A30: the most direct lanes are too narrow for caravans and motorhomes. Use the route shown on the campsite’s own website.
