Power cut
A number of properties in the village reported a loss of power on Saturday (1st August).

There is a suggestion that this may have been as the result of a surge in the supply. This can harm sensitive or unprotected equipment. Parishioners are advised to check their devices to ensure that they are operating correctly.
This may be a good time to remind ourselves about the Priority Services Register (PSR). This can give you extra support during a power cut, like regular updates and a special number to ring if you need extra support.
