The council has received notice of roadworks effecting School Road.
The notice states that parking will be prohibited on School Road for the week 5th to 9th January 2026 whilst resurfacing work takes place.
According to the map accompanying the notice the only area to be effected will be immediately to the East of the bridge over the Granite Way. There is no indication that the road will be closed to traffic.

Advanced warning of an inspection and remedial work to the railway bridge by the junction between the back road from Lydford to the Mucky Duck and the turning to Ingo Brake. The road is scheduled to be closed from Thursday 21st November to Friday 22nd November. The planned detour is via Tavistock and the A386.
