Vacancy on the parish council

A Councillor vacancy on Lydford parish council has arisen due to the sad loss of Councillor Brian Cook, who has regrettably had to stand down from the council for personal reasons after many years service to the community, including a long spell as Chair of the council.

The council is now looking to fill the vacancy. At this point in the life of the council, appointment would typically be by co-option.
