An exhibition of work by local artists with cake and cream teas from 10am to 4pm at The Nicholls Hall, Lydford

BAR OPEN from 12 noon to 4pm both days

IN ADDITION BACON BUTTIE MORNING will also take place from 10am to 12.30pm on both Saturday 29^th and Sunday 30^th (See separate Ad)

Card payments accepted and well behaved dogs welcome.

PRIZES

Sunday Lunch at The Castle Inn, Lydford, to the value of £60

£50 voucher for The Dartmoor Inn, Lydford.

£15 voucher for Okehampton Toy Shop

ENTRY

£3 per scarecrow/group of scarecrows made by the same household.

Free entry for under 12s.

WHEN

Scarecrows can be put out at any time from the 15^th August onwards, but if you wish to take part in the competition, they must be in place by 9am on Saturday 29^th August.

THEME

A character/group of characters from a book.

HOW TO ENTER

You must register and pay for your entry before 9pm on Thursday 27^th August with either Bekki T: 07949870812 Or Ellie T:01822 820210.

Scarecrows should be placed in visible places on or safely near your property. If you don’t have somewhere to place a scarecrow or live somewhere it won’t be seen by many people, we can place it for you.

COMPETITION Prizes will be awarded for:

Best scarecrow

Best Scarecrow Runner up

Best scarecrow made by an under 12

Nicholls Hall Post Office Open

The outreach post office service at the Nicholls Hall, Lydford has resumed. This service runs every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm in the small committee room – accessed by the side door.
